Asset Management & Consulting Services, Inc. is a locally owned and operated investment real estate property management company (Community Associations, Apartments, Commercial Properties, Development). Its principal, James J. Kerr, Sr., has been in the real estate business in Charleston for over 40 years. AMCS was founded by Mr.Kerr in 1990 to provide property management services to residential apartment communities and community associations. Mr. Kerr started with six employees and three properties. Now, AMCS manages a varied portfolio in multiple locations in Florida, Columbia, Greenville, South Carolina and mainly in the Charleston Tri-County Area.

AMCS Homeowners’ Association department took part in the Habitat for Humanity National Women’s Build yesterday.  They hit the ground running by installing laminate floors,  grouting tile, painting, caulking, and  building shelves in a  new home in North Charleston. The Homeowners Association Department has been taking part in the Women’s Build for the last four years and is looking forward to next year’s build.  Way to go Ladies!
